The Hammer. An event that has developed to what it has become today, over a Millennium of time some will say. And to not include it in the Diamond League?

The excitement of the throwing of the hammer, is unequaled as the heaviest weighted event going well over 77m for both men and women competitors. The Athleticism required to execute the turns and the balance to, through the finish and release of the throw is both one of grace, power, and explosiveness. To so many, a beautiful sight.

Not in the Diamond League? WHY? Legitimate Reason. There is none. WHY?
